Shannon Nienast presented Feed My Starving Children to the club and created a lot of interest in helping with a Mobilepack event where meals are packed for those in need. The event provides a first step to feed children by packing bulk ingredients into individual meals and then shipping them to those in need. The next event is May 5-7th at Zion United Methodist Church across from Aldi’s. The Marshfield Mobilepack website page is open now for donations and opens March 25th to let volunteer’s sign-up to pack. (www.marshfieldfmsc.com) The goal is to pack over 124,000 meals this year. The $30,000 fundraising goal is to pay for the ingredients and FMSC staff to help run the event.
