Marshfield Rotary focuses our volunteers, fundraising, and friendships on three priorities: helping kids thrive, caring for our environment, and making sure no neighbor goes without nutritious food.

Focus lets us show you what your support actually accomplishes. Each priority below includes how it connects to Rotary's global work, so you can see how what we do in Marshfield fits into something much bigger.

Youth & Child Development

We support the growth and well-being of children and youth by investing in programs and experiences that build confidence, character, leadership, and opportunity.

Kids who feel supported, challenged, and believed in grow into adults who give back. That is the idea behind this priority. Through scholarships, mentoring, leadership experiences, and partnerships with local schools and youth organizations, we look for ways to open doors for young people in our community.

Rotary also gives us a global toolkit to draw on, including Interact clubs for high school students, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), and Rotary Youth Exchange.

Our work in this area:

RYLA
Marshfield Rotary sends local high school sophomores to RYLA, a weekend leadership camp at Upham Woods in Wisconsin Dells. They build leadership skills and return ready to lead.

Rotary Youth Exchange
Students ages 15 to 19 can live and learn abroad, and international students stay with Marshfield host families. Exchanges build friendships and a bigger view of the world.

World Affairs Seminar
This week-long seminar brings high school students from around the world together to explore the issues shaping their future. Marshfield Rotary is proud to send students.

Environmental Stewardship

We take an active role in protecting and improving our local environment through efforts that promote improvement, conservation, sustainability, and responsible use of natural resources.

Marshfield's parks, waterways, and green spaces are part of what makes this a great place to live, and they take care to keep. Our members roll up their sleeves on hands-on projects that clean up, plant, restore, and protect, and we partner with local organizations that share the goal of leaving this community healthier than we found it.

Our work in this area:

Environmental Service
From planting trees to beautifying parks, our members roll up their sleeves to care for Marshfield’s green spaces. Small projects add up to a healthier, more welcoming community.

Marshfield Outdoor Learning Sanctuary
MOLS is one of Marshfield’s hidden gems, and Rotary has been rolling up our sleeves there for years. From a thriving pollinator garden to countless workdays of upkeep, we’re committed to keeping it beautiful.

Adopt a Highway
Marshfield Rotary volunteers keep a stretch of local roadway clean through the Adopt-a-Highway program. Several times a year, we suit up and pick up litter to keep our community looking its best.

Food Access & Security

We work to ensure all members of our community have consistent access to nutritious food by supporting initiatives that address hunger, food gaps, and long-term food stability.

Hunger is often hidden in plain sight, including among working families, seniors, and kids who rely on school meals. We support food pantries and community partners with volunteer hours and funding, and we look for ways to strengthen the local food system so that help is there when neighbors need it.

Our work in this area:

Rotary Winter Wonderland
Our signature community celebration lights up Marshfield and does real good. Proceeds go back into the community, helping fight hunger here at home.

Feed My Starving Children
Rotary members and friends team up to pack nutritious meals for children in need. It’s hands-on, high-energy, and a great way to see what a few hours of service can do.

Local Giving
Rotary funds and volunteer hours support the organizations working to end hunger in our area. When local partners need help, we show up.
