Dr. Dave Webb, author, keynote speaker, and founder of Homerun Leadership, recently joined a packed room of Marshfield Rotarians to share practical leadership strategies from his book, Homerun Leadership. As a past president of the Roseville Rotary Club in Roseville, Minnesota, Dave understands the unique power of Rotary: bringing people together around a shared commitment to service, community, and making a difference. His presentation highlighted the Homerun Leadership framework and how involving people in meaningful decisions can build stronger teams, greater ownership, and more effective action.
Marshfield Rotarians then put those ideas to work. Following the keynote, committee members worked together to identify goals and develop action strategies for their committees, turning the morning’s leadership concepts into plans that can support the club’s work in the community. The experience reflected an important principle of Homerun Leadership: when people help create the plan, they are more invested in making it happen.
