The Marshfield Rotary Club swapped its traditional morning agenda for a lively, hands-on creative session last week. Led by Samantha Sternweis of BeachRockStudio26, club members spent the meeting chatting, laughing, and painting rocks together. The activity offered a wonderfully relaxing space for Rotarians to socialize, catch up, and bond over paintbrushes. Beyond the fun and fellowship, the morning served a great purpose, allowing everyone to contribute to a unique community project that spreads local goodwill.
These colorful creations will soon serve as friendly reminders of Rotary's presence around town. Once the paint dries, a final coat of resin will be applied to make each rock completely weather-resistant. Members will then hide them throughout the community for local residents to find. With "Marshfield Rotary" and the club’s Facebook page written on the back of each piece, this fun scavenger hunt aims to put smiles on neighbors' faces while promoting the club's active role in making Marshfield a vibrant place to live.
