VOLUNTEER: Environmental Service Project

Marshfield Outdoor Learning Sanctuary

From 2-3:30 p.m. Rotarians will work with Marshfield HS students to weed the Rotary Pollinator Garden while trenching is being done to prevent invasive weeds.  We will also be cutting invasive cattails along the shoreline of one of the ponds.  Wear your boots and gloves.  Bring shovel, loppers and weeding tools and a bucket, if you have them.  Please contact Jane Wagner, wagfam282@gmail.com or 715-223-7669, to sign-up and get additional information.

Volunteers are needed on the second Thursday of each month to prepare either breakfast (7-8 am) or dinner (5-6 pm) for residents at RMH. While RMH provides all necessary cooking utensils, volunteers are responsible for bringing the ingredients for their meal. It's requested to avoid making pizzas, as they are frequently provided by other donors. RMH typically serves 15-25 people per meal, so volunteers should call 24-72 hours in advance to confirm the menu and get an estimated headcount. Volunteers are expected to prepare the meal at RMH, clean up their preparation area, and wash any dishes used before leaving.

Instructions/Guidance for Volunteers:
